Returns + Refunds

30 DAY RETURNS.

We want you to love the products you buy from us. If you change your mind, you may return it to us within 30 days of the date you received it, no questions asked. You will be responsible for the actual shipping costs to facilitate a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes the costs of shipping the item to you in the first place and the cost of shipping back to us.

You must lodge a return request via email to hello@stellastudio.com.au please include your name and order number and our customer care team will arrange the return for you.

Items returned must be in 'as-new' condition. This means you have not used, assembled, damaged, washed or laundered any of the items. Please return items secured in their original packaging. If you cannot return an item 'as new' in its original packaging, a handling and restocking fee may apply up to 20% of the value of the item.

Non-returnable items excluded from all change of mind returns include:

  • Products described as "made to order"
  • Mattresses, bedding, pillows and sofa covers
  • All forms of clearance stock (e.g. warehouse, display centre, floor stock etc.)
  • Clearance items
  • Personalised items
  • Gift Cards
  • Orders for commercial or non-domestic use
  • Items purchased in store from a display centre and taken away at the same time of the sale. (Excludes items purchased in store where the delivery method is Click & Collect)

Within 5 business days of receiving your return, and subject to confirming it is in 'as-new' condition, we will issue you with a store credit voucher via email in an amount equal to the price you paid for the product, less the cost to ship the product to you and the return shipping back to the Stella Studio warehouse. Credits are issued in the form of store credit. Store credit voucher codes will be valid for one (1) year from the date of issue. We will not accept returns delivered in person to our display centre, Click & Collect locations, depots, offices or warehouse facilities. To arrange a return, please contact us for assistance at hello@stellastudio.com.au.

SPECIAL ORDERS.

Special orders are submitted for production immediately upon order placement and are built to your specifications. A non-refundable 50% deposit will be taken when the order is placed; the remaining 50% will be charged when your order ships. If you choose to cancel your special order item(s) prior to delivery, your 50% deposit will not be refunded. Once delivered, special order returns or exchanges due to customer preference or any other reason cannot be accepted.

STOCKED NON-FURNITURE ITEMS.

We accept returns for non-furniture items within 30 days, with proof of purchase.

MONOGRAMMED/PERSONALIZED ITEMS.

These items are special order and are non-cancellable, non-returnable, non-exchangeable and non-refundable.

FINAL SALE & CLEARANCE ITEMS.

Clearance items, as well as any items purchased during a Warehouse Sale, are considered final-sale items and cannot be returned.

CANCELLATIONS.

For all orders that are canceled prior to items shipping, no delivery fee will be charged. For special order items, a non-refundable 50% deposit will be taken when the order is placed. If you choose to cancel your special order item(s) prior to delivery, your 50% deposit will not be refunded.

Should you decide to cancel a return and keep the item after a refund was issued, we will charge your credit card in the amount of the refund issued.

PRICING & INFORMATION DISCLAIMER.

Our goal is to provide accuracy in all prices, delivery rates and other information. All prices in our source books and online are in Australian dollars and are subject to any applicable taxes according to state and local laws. Availability, prices and delivery rates are subject to change. There may be errors in the prices, descriptions or images of certain merchandise, and we reserve the right to restrict orders of those items and correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions. 

REFUNDS

Registration, Order and Cancellation

1.1 When making an order, you must possess a valid credit or debit card and register for an account on the Website. To place an order, you should follow the given instructions.

1.2 Irrespective of any previous price you have seen or heard, once you select a Product that you wish to order, you will then be shown or told (on the Website) the charges you must pay including GST, if applicable, and any applicable delivery charges. Unless otherwise stipulated on the Website, all charges are in the currency then in force in Australia.

1.3 You must pay for the Product in full when placing an order by one of the payment methods we provide on the Website. Please find more details in our Payment Policy https://www.stellastudio.com.au/payment-policy. In any event, we shall not be bound to accept the order before we have received the funds in full.

1.4 You undertake that all details you provide to us for the purpose of purchasing the Product from us will be correct, that the credit or debit card, or account or other payment method which you use is your own and that there are sufficient funds or credit facilities to cover the cost of the Product. We reserve the right to obtain validation of your payment details before providing you with the Product.

1.5 When you submit an order to the Website, you agree that you do so subject to these Terms and Conditions current at the date you submit your Order. You are responsible for reviewing the latest Terms and Conditions each time you submit your order.

1.6 Your order remains valid as an offer until we issue our Acknowledgement of your order. We shall not be obliged to supply the Product to you until we have accepted your order. We will send you an Acknowledgement with your order reference number and details of the Product you have ordered. Stella Studio reserves the right to decline any order, for any reason (e.g., unavailability of supplies, unusually high freight charges). In this case, we will promptly grant you a store credit or a full refund.

1.7 Stella Studio works closely with its suppliers to ensure that prices shown on the Website are accurate. In the unlikely event that the price of your order changes before we accept your order, we will contact you and ask you to confirm that you wish to proceed at the amended price.

1.8 If you discover that you have made a mistake with your Order after you have submitted it to the Website, please contact our Customer Service via the Help Center. Please note that we cannot guarantee that we will be able to amend your Order in accordance with your instructions.

1.9 Until the time when we accept your Order, we reserve the right to refuse to process your Order and you have the right to cancel your Order. We will notify you if we are unable to If we or you have cancelled your Order before it has been accepted, we will promptly refund any payment already made by you to your original payment method.
